Online Game Services Inc. Presents Casual Connect Charity Texas Hold'Em Party
San Jose -

SAN JOSE, Calif., July 9, 2007 -- Online Game Services Inc. (OGSi) today announced that it will be holding a charity poker party as part of the Casual Games Association's Casual Connect Conference in Seattle, WA (http://seattle.casualconnect.org). CGA Casual Connect Seattle brings together the most talented and knowledgeable experts in the casual gaming field to further the casual games industry.

 

The charity poker party will take place on Thursday, July 19th at 7:00 PM, at Benaroya Hall, 200 University Street, Seattle, WA. “We encourage conference attendees, and the wider Seattle games community to enjoy an evening of entertainment and poker, fabulous prizes, including a top prize $1500 American Express Gift Card, all in the name of a great cause that is close to the hearts of the Casual Games community,” said James Hursthouse, OGSi president. “Numbers are limited so please RSVP to http://seattle.casualconnect.org/maryclarersvp.html to reserve your spot.”

 

All proceeds from the party will go to the Maryclare Ramirez Fund and St Jude Research Hospital. A minimum party entry fee of $100 is requested from each participant. Supporting sponsors of the event include Emergent Game Technologies, Force Ten Networks, Funkitron, Seven Group, and TrialPay.

Who is Maryclare Ramirez?
Maryclare Ramirez is a little girl with a bad disease - Soft Tissue Sarcoma - a form of cancer. Maryclare's father, Ernie Ramirez is a long time supporter of the Casual Games Association and the industry, and this event is a way for the community to support the Ramirez family during this difficult time. Proceeds from the event will help cover medical expenses not covered by their insurance policy. Any funds left over will be donated to St Jude Research Hospital (http://www.StJude.org/). Even if unable to attend the party, people are encouraged to donate to the Maryclare Ramirez fund, to help Maryclare and other children fight these diseases at.
